Question #1:

Chimney flue pipe clearance?

I hit a vegetation range that is in my basement. I am making a domicile aggrandize for it to alter it up to code. My chimney flue tube that goes finished a wall about 3 inches into concrete which goes into my flue outside. My question is the sheetrock around the pipe is 2" away. If this is double wall tube will that be sufficient? So there is nothing around the pipe at all up to 2 inches. I crapper wager clearly it goes into concrete. If you are a contractor, home inspector, antiquity inspector, DIY bag repair person, etc. please state that when responsive my question. Thank you in advance.
Well considering it was already like this when I touched in and my home inspecter said to just place it up on a hearth. Then you would adopt it was ok. But meet your instrument is 2" alittle to close for comfort?

How do I build a hearth pad for my wood burning stove?

I'm actually looking for a plan or something similiar. I am familiar with all the tools, equipment, etc.
