Transmission Slipping Questions:

I was dynamical my car on the interstate, from 50 indication to perhaps 35mph or slower, was about to get onto a ramp and my car revved and would not shift. I meet replaced my pace sensor and my sending has been slippy for a lowercase while. Reverse, 1st and 2nd equipment every works. What could be the issue?

I bought this automobile about 2 months ago. I prototypal detected that its shifting hornlike but mostly exclusive after a long intend in stop & go reciprocation so I figured maybe it was just because the sending was effort hot. Now I've detected individual times where the transmission seems to slip. Basically I travel on the gas not hard, meet for normal speed and the engine revs up but the automobile doesn't move, then it jerks and goes. It feels same maybe the transmission is slipping then dead engaging into gear.
I had the automobile inspected before I bought it and the journeyman said there were whatever leaks in the transmission and chilling lines that would need seals replaced. The excerpt was a amount of about 700 for the sending for seals replaced, changeful flush, cooling lines replaced etc. I'm selection to do that if it strength mend the difficulty and provide me another 20,000 miles or so but if the transmission is resigned I'll just sell the automobile and advise on.
So, what do you think? Is there hope that having the service done will preserve the life of the transmission? Or is this a sign of large machinelike problems and I should meet delude the car?
Thanks folks. I know its probably unseaworthy some fluid so I'll intend it lidded off and if that fixes the problems at least temporarily I module go aweigh and pay the 700 to get the seals replaced & transmission fully serviced. I meet don't poverty to spend the money if its going to die anyway.

I hit a '90 mustang with the aod. It used to voyage around 1500 rpms at 70 mph patch in OD but now it is streaming around 2k rpm. I HAVE NOT changed the rearend gear, tires, ect, I've changed nothing somethings not employed right. The sending doesn't slip some but it does agitate New around town under reddened throttle and i usually have to let soured the pedal for it to shift, which I assume is a tv cable/pressure problem. Does the tv pressure affect the rpm at which od would be streaming as well? PS OD is working, when I go WOT or place it in D in drops a gear and runs around 3k rpm at 70 mph.

Yeah it sounds different, the rpms are high, Im effort around 12 mpg today that's driving like grandma, no burnouts. If the trans was slippy would it meet be liberated reving like it was in neutral or could it be slippy and still hit forward motion? It's not liberated reving.

I had 4 professional mechanics friends of mine support me switch discover the transmissions. They made sure everything was installed right force convertor etc. and when I started it, they told me to to add 6quarts of dextron ATF it meet revved and none of the gears engaged. The ebrake was off and I tried Drive, Reverse, and 1....nothing happened and the engine kept revving....4 professional mechanics aren't trusty what the inferno is going on, because it should at least be engaging digit equipment modify intense transmissions do PLEASE HELP WHAT IS WRONG?

Funny thing is i never hit a problem discover of my tranny i dont even know what it feels like to hit a slippy tranny, it kicks a little hornlike sometimes but i amount thats normal in older trucks, every i undergo is this lights annoying me today for no reason.

I have a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer. Thing has been a creature for me! It has 134K miles now, and this has been the first weird issue I've ever had with it. We took it on a agency activate to Florida From Ohio & Back about 3 weeks ago. On the way home, the analyse engine reddened pops on. I don't notice anything wrong. Just recently bought a 99 S10 from someone. I don't undergo how to prizewinning explain this, so bear with me. When driving, even on the highway, it feels like the engine is slipping? The prizewinning artefact I can describe it, is when you are dynamical in fall and you impact a spot and see like you have no power for a split second...or you're running on a treadmill and the belt skips for a second? What can this be?
I meet recently did a set up on it. New plugs, wires, armature and cap. Changed the oil. The transmission changeful seems good...the RPM's don't advise whenever it kicks. Weirdest thing and I hit never felt it before in any other truck I have owned. Engine has 176k on it. Any advice?
