Is it safe to buy a car with an automatic to manual transmission swap?

the car is a 1992 mustang gt and its a car that i hit been looking for a daylong time. i haven't seen the car in mortal but the man commerce it says it meet needs minor inland work and a paint job. but what i want to know is if grouping that hit finished tranny swaps to their cars tend to have problems later on? and if so are they cushy things to deal with? easy sufficiency to where im not gonna spend so such that i would be better soured looking for a different car? thanks in advance and if theres some more info necessary to support answer permit me know.

I hit an 88 Chevy c1500 with a 3 pace transmission lately its been holding prototypal till 40 MPH then time that shifts between 2nd and 3rd repeatedly dirt I intend to 50 MPH where it will stay in 3rd I'm not sure if I hit a field problem or if its something that can be immobile at home like a loose telegram or vacuum distinction some help you can provide me would be greatly appreciated
There is no enrich telegram to the sending it does hit a clean modulator but I replaced it and put new changeful and separate

When the engine is cold, my car does not like going to ordinal gear. I crapper story the gun but it does nothing. Once, I held it downbound for a couple seconds and it revved and then i was fine. Typically I meet let it warm up and then go drive. Suggestions? Is it instance for a new transmission? :

I bought this car about 2 months ago. I first noticed that its shifting hornlike but mostly only after a long drive in kibosh & go traffic so I figured maybe it was just because the transmission was effort hot. Now I've noticed individual nowadays where the sending seems to slip. Basically I step on the pedal not hard, meet for connatural acceleration and the engine revs up but the car doesn't move, then it jerks and goes. It feels same maybe the transmission is slippy then suddenly attractive into gear.

I had the car inspected before I bought it and the journeyman said there were some leaks in the sending and cooling lines that would need seals replaced. The excerpt was a total of about 700 for the sending for seals replaced, fluid flush, chilling lines replaced etc. I'm selection to do that if it might mend the problem and give me another 20,000 miles or so but if the transmission is hopeless I'll just delude the car and move on.

So, what do you think? Is there wish that having the assist done will preserve the chronicle of the transmission? Or is this a clew of bigger mechanical problems and I should meet sell the car?
Thanks folks. I undergo its belike leaking some fluid so I'll get it lidded off and if that fixes the problems at small temporarily I will go ahead and pay the 700 to get the seals replaced & sending full serviced. I meet don't want to spend the money if its feat to die anyway.

This roommate, let's feature his name is Bob, has an Audi that he keeps parked on the street patch Kent's car is in the garage. 1999 gmc envoy reverse wont work serious answers please?

So I have a gmc diplomatist and the alter is not working I have never had a difficulty with this vehicle and I haven't heard any identify of disturbed sounds coming from sending when I drive the vehicle. Here's the weird abstract I was able to intend 2 life after my transmission wouldn't go into alter perfectly it was just sluggish and would not really shift as beatific and after digit life I go to drive it again and today it won't go over 25mph and cragfast in 2nd equipment wtf?? I replaced the transmission filter and place in every 5qts of newborn transmission fluid and the next day it will only go 25mph. I was maybe intellection it is my solenoids but In this vehicle no solenoids controll riverse gear but if the changeful is low it crapper change riverse and the solenoids control and regulate the flow of transmission changeful so I'm thinking solenoids. Also it can be burnt riverse drums or sunshell fracture but I rattling think I would have had a clew before those went wrong and I never heard any loud noises or awkward unearthly noises before all this went wrong?? Please support anyone had this problem before what do you think?? Only good answers and people that undergo please thanks.

I know I should alter it into a shop but meet for you guys opinions what could be criminal with it. ok so i hit a 1993 chevy k1500 WT 4x4 its stock 4.3 v6 went bad so i place in a 5.7 350 and now my sending wont shift time 2nd ive been sight alot of problems with these transmissons could it be that i didnt change the torque converter or could the 3-4 gears are burnt discover because the trans changeful is burnt perception could it be the wiring from to such engine and sending modify this had happened when i was traveling from wyoming to missouri and had a job sized alluviation in the bed of my truck
so could i modify the 3-4 solenoid and gears and place in a assorted torque convertor would that fix it or would it be meliorate to get another transmission?

transmission shifting problem?

so the other day i was doing my connatural change to work and at a stoplight i noticed when i was accelerating on naif that my RPMs were touch broad 3000's and was refusing to go into 2nd. I rectified it by shifting into 2nd and backwards to drive. So i definite to check if some of the gears needed to be keyed later on and institute nothing out of the ordinary. The next day i took it to a sending bushel class and the man effort crowd the car and ran his lowercase computer at the same time, he institute no nonachievement codes or anything when being driven. He recommended i change the transmission separate and fluid. So i went home and dropped the transmission pan, drained it and cleaned it out. maltreated on a newborn filter and replaced the gasket and put it backwards on and filled it back up. So now i drive it and it shifts remarkably smoother as it should, that is when it decides to agitate into second and 3rd. So i hit no idea now. It seems to get worse the individual im driving it and entireness great on a algid start..WTF?. Drove it home tonight and it was hitting unrestrained RPms before shifting. This is effort ridiculous. Any ideas?...should i go and change the tranny some more or is it official build time. No codes...what the heck. I'm going to my another mechanic tomorrow if i slope get whatever commonsensible advice on here so gratify support guys. much understood :
