I have a 2006 Honda Civic DX with 72,000 miles on it.

Now it will not move at all.

We also notice that at motion the key to "on" or position 2, we do not center the render pump motion on, and the malfunction indicator lamp stays on.

My question is, could this have anything to do with the aggregation equal and or the main relay? I read that the main relay produces similar symptoms to this along with a intense ecu, but commonly only happens in very hot condiditons? The defy has not absent over 40 degrees for the terminal 3 months.

The man who changed my clutch said that the only electrical he touched were the reverse reddened on the Tranny, the air line sensor on the intake, and the speedometer. We had them checked to make sure they were place backwards correctly.

All my electrical works, every my lights invoke on and my biaural even entireness fine so I don't think that would be an electrical short. I also clean off all the contacts on my battery.

I just concave out 600 to hit my aggregation replaced, and don't really hit such more to pay on more repairs.

Does anyone hit some ideas to what it could be?

Why am I having issues starting my car?

This difficulty started terminal Friday afternoon. I proven starting it and it made a offense utter sound, the lights came on but not the car. Seems like its becoming more frequent. I fresh had the oil change, and commonly they check my fluids, so they all should be fine too. The issue started before I took my car in to get the oil change. They didnt name any problems play it. So Im wondering if its the ignition? but I heard if it was that, it wouldnt move at all. My key has a chip in it, and its unerect a little, but I've never had this problem before. Its a 2001 pontiac grandam.

How hard is it to diagnose an electrical problem on a Volkswagen (please read before answering)?

I hit a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta GL 2.0 with almost 118,000 miles. Just recently, it would not start up. When I proven to start it up, it prefabricated a fast clicking sound. I was able to get the automobile jumped and I took it to an machine parts store. The manager there ran a test on my battery, alternator, and starter. He told me that the battery and alternator were dead ok. He said the battery was ok too, but that a imperfect module within the car exhausted some of the energy from the battery. He told me that if I drove the car around for a while, it would recharge the forfeited energy on the battery. I took his advice and after 1/2 distance it was fine. He said I would hit to take it to a journeyman to find the faulty module. How difficult is it to study an electrical problem on a Jetta like the digit I have? I was conversation to someone who told me that every a VW mechanic has to do is hook it up to a computer to notice the faulty part. Is this true? Or module identification an electrical problem be more complicated than that? If so, what module it take? I would really appreciate signaling from anyone who's old on the matter. Thanks in advance.

Do I have a bad alternator or something else?

I hit a 2005 Chevrolet royalist with 102000 miles. It was streaming great until about a period ago where it started to hit pain play up, but it would yet start up. I would have to permit it utter for a lowercase bit, provide it a big amount of gas then it commonly starts right up. It's been doing this for most a period on and off. I took it to the mechanics but they kept finding another things criminal with it just my luck -.-

so today as I was driving bag from school I had my ipod activity and the engine cut on me patch I was sitting in traffic. I put the car in park right away, and I noticed my shelling light went on. I turned the car on again and it started up dead normal and the shelling indicator reddened went away.

It's today 11:30pm and about half an hour ago I just got home from hanging out and realized my engine indicator reddened is on.

I know that there's a way to test if you hit a bad alternator by measuring the emf but I don't hit the effectuation to do that so is there just any advice you guys crapper give? I'd really appreciate it.

Oil was changed a couple weeks ago if that helps.

Could this be my alternator or something else?

I hit a 1999 Intrepid ES w/3.2l V6. I hit this problem with my HVAC blower and noesis windows not working. Now, with the automobile running, I invoke on my HVAC my Trac Off and ABS reddened will come on and meet on. But If I turn the HVAC unit off the lights will invoke off. Now if I go to place my pane down the lights will also become on and then go off. When I go place my automobile in intend the lights module also become on and go off. Also sometimes my Brake reddened module come on with the other two, but it doesn't stay on. Now when the Trac and ABS light are on, the functions are not working, of instruction I tested. But when the lights go soured they work properly. Now could this be my alternator, computer, wiring, or a bad connector unification somewhere. I had my shelling replaced last year, so I don't conceive it is that. But you never know!!!

Put jump leads on the wrong way when my car needed a jump, now my battery won't hold charge?

I titled the RAC out when it happened and they found a fuse blown that was sat on the constructive termianl, and essentially took the fuse/unit off linked the battery up without the fuse. Now then, since then my battery is losing charge when standing still and i don't think it is being charged by the alternator.

However if I move my car Properly it runs perfectly normal with no problems, every electrics and everything entireness dustlike no problem modify though my battery is totally flat which is directive me to bleive it might not be the alternator.

I took my battery into be proven and got told that it was good, i.e. they charged it and proven it. I then place it backwards in my car started it up drove it home came to the automobile 12 hours after and the shelling was dead.

If anyone could give me some ideas as to whats the most probable abstract feat this I would really revalue it.

I feel defeated. Impossible car problem. No one knows the answer. HELP!?

2002 author Mustang, V6, Base, 3.8L, 150,000miles

Everything I essay on this car doesn't work. I've clean MAF, throttle body, IAC, EGR, replaced hoses, patterned for leaks, replaced alternator, no check engine light, took to an exhaust place said cats were fine, kindling wind readings fine, render gauge working fine, NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, meet finished so such to this car. Yes the analyse engine reddened works, was on due to a bad EGR pipe and missing PDFE sensor. I fixed that, light gone. I have changed flash plugs, wires, and done regular fix on it oil, FUEL FILTER, air filter, etc. .

It jerks and hesitates, stumbles and loses rpm when it's movement indolent in my yard, obstructed at a flushed light, and occasionally when I'm driving it. I had a feeling it was my alternator, so I disconnected the noesis cloth to it. It worked perfectly. I ordered a newborn one, place it on there, and it's still doing the aforementioned thing. Pulley grouping and serpentine belt hit been changed bum pulley, machine tensioner .

NO ONE CAN FIGURE THIS OUT! It ease jerks, idle changes in good as it stumbles. Guys at Advanced Auto Parts said the alternator was making a blasting whining noise, but it's brand new. It tested fine.

Why is it ease jerking/hesitating? RPM dip down, improve right backwards up. Engine is rattling strong. Ran seafoam through it, good fuel, render injector cleaners... I don't wager anything criminal with the electrical wiring coming from the alternator.

Please, just support me. I don't know what added to do. I feel defeated. Heck, I'll even PayPal someone whatever change if they find out what the difficulty is for me. I meet can't amount it out!!

Bad Battery or Alternator?
