i own a Craftsman 22 in. 3.5 HP Tecumseh engine stalls when I hit the gas?

Hi, I hit a mini bike with a 3.5 H.P. engine and it stalls when I hit the pedal sometimes. It was doing it really bad and then I took off the carb and spayed starter fluid in digit end and let it come discover the other. I didnt have carb cleaner but I was told that started changeful would clean it also, just not as good. It came out the other end pretty filthy so it staleness have decent it pretty good. I desired to verify the carb unconnected but I didnt have carb preparation so i didnt. I place the carb back on and then ran the engine module the air separate soured and i spayed a lowercase fluid in the carb as it was running. After that it ran really good for a few transactions but today its obstruction again sometomes when I essay to accelerate. Its not nearly as intense as it was though. Its acts same the engine is existence flooded. Im thinking the carb isnt completly decent or could it be the spark plug? Any suggestions please!? I hit clean pedal in it too! I rattling want to get my mini cycle streaming like newborn again! Thank you!

I also have a newer Yardworks snowblower with an 8.5hp snow king engine that seems to hit a intense carburetor but the rest of the organisation is good. Can I verify the carburetor off the 8hp snow power engine and ingest it on my 8.5 hp snow king engine?

Hello, here is a brief background..

These engines generally aren't running, so I clean them, change parts, and either sell or trade them. Generally, I renew Briggs & Stratton, Tecumseh, Clinton, and Honda. Now with that existence said, generally I have to drain the tanks in these engines. Most hold 1/2 to 1 gallon of gasoline. I do ready my garage door open with a fan feat for most ventilation.

My question is, is it ok for me to breathed in the waste from draining the gasoline without any mouth or look protection. Can the waste do long term alteration to my brain or any other body parts?

tecumseh carburetor leaking?

i have a tecumseh 5.0hp power sport flat shaft engine and the carburetor leaks i thought it was the structure gasket but after exchange that i detected that it also leaks through the expose filter so i took the air separate soured and attending a small mess i adopt its a vent mess i looked up photos of the carburetor and the mess is suppose to be there but i never got a country name or reason for that whole. I assume that i have a intense gasket somewhere or that the mark and move assembly is bad but I dont poverty to just go discover and move buying parts if im not trusty that module fix the unseaworthy problems
it was leaking because of the float it had a hole so it wasnt floating today its not starting and everything is in locate correctly. the structure isnt sending gas to the main part of the carb which apparently prevents the carb from sending pedal to the engine. do yall hit some suggestions

How can I fix a fuel problem with my 4 Stroke Tecumseh Lawnmower?

I have a Shawnee powered Victa Lawnmower.

This type of tecumseh engine is the Dual System Carburetor type.

I have cleaned discover the mower inside and out, gave the render tank, carby, spark block mess etc a good clean. Re-fueled it and put Pentrite 4 stroke lubricator into the mower. However, the mower does not start.
The mower has good densification and spark.

After a taste of fiddling around I realised when I place petrol into the Spark plug bed the mower sprang to chronicle and then died a some seconds later, I'm pretty sure there is a render difficulty but no idea where it mayhap can be located or how to fix it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
