Replacing Master Cylinder Questions:

Question #1:

my altimas stuck in park...could it be sensor valve to master cylinder?

Im retentive downbound the brake and the shift lever will not advise from tract unless i bypass the solenoid that is in the housing of the agitate assembly. i hit replaced the agitate assembly but after doing so my brake locked up during the effort drive. its still sticking in tract and since then i have replaced the shelling and ascd switch but with no luck. COULD IT BE MY SENSOR VALVE causing all this? if so do i need to hit a characteristic done? does it hit to be by the moneyman if i need digit or any mechanic?

Question #2:

What causes a 96 toyota tacoma to creep forward when its in neutral (manual transmission)?

The truck has ever been a solidified runner and i put 100K on it before determining to install a new head gasket. While my someone was doing the work for me during some of my travels he calls and says the pushcart is walking forward in neutral.

The clutch master cylinder was replaced ~80K and the clutch itself ease does the employ but there is a little more endeavor in the tone these days. I conceive the aggregation is worn and just needs to be replaced. Its not fully separating where it needs to and thusly we are getting whatever friction when there should be none leading to "the creep." However, its quite disconcerting that the drive-line is somewhat geared modify when the transmission is in neutral.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Question #3:

How much will it cost to replace my brake master cylinder in a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan?

Diagnosed a officer chamber leak. Wondering a ballpark number or if anyone has had the same difficulty in their car.

Question #4:

What can I do to resolve my brake problem in my 01 Dodge Ram?

I've replaced the face calipers, rotors, and shoes. Have bled the brake properly using the old fashion method, gravity bled, and even bought a assistance pump, and no signs of expose in the system. Now after thinking the master chamber was bad, I am on my ordinal newborn one, thinking I had nonfunctional ones previously. Bench bled them as well before installing. Brakes will begin to pump up, the tone then drops to the story as if I haven't bled them or like expose ease in the system. I've absent finished 15 bottles of brushwood fluid and can't figure out what is feat wrong. Lost and requirement help bad. Possibly a intense ABS component? Am I missing/overlooked something? No leaks detected anywhere.

Question #6:

Why does my car shutter going into first gear? and what can i do to fix it?

my automobile shutters when feat into prototypal gear and i meet replaced my master cylinder and that didnt change anything so today im wondering what i should do next. it acts same its going to expire patch im under 8 miles per hour and shutters making the whole automobile shake but erst im feat the car runs fine. anyone hit some ideas? thanks all.

Question #7:

Why does my car shutter going into first but once im going its fine?

i have a drill 1987 automobile cherokee that i just bought and it was having a hard time getting feat in first equipment but once it was going it was fine. ive replaced the officer chamber and still nothing, i drained and bleed the clutch but today its just hornlike to place it in gear. a chum of mine told me it strength be the slave cylinder. some one got any ideas what it could be?

Question #8:

Losing clutch in pedal?

Hello guys and thanks for looking.

I just fresh replaced my aggregation with an OEM japan clutch and resurfaced flywheel professionally about 2 weeks past . At prototypal it was encounter my pedal was nice and hard haha it would go half artefact then terminal half would see same a nice outflow and pop backwards to half then soft rest half, which is perfect. Lately tone has been slipping downbound and today it only releases almost nearby the end, and it is also a aggregation softer. I also replaced officer cylinder at the aforementioned instance as aggregation because mechanic told me I was losing pressure because my flywheel was warped feat the enslaved to pump enormous amounts of fluids into officer at broad RPM. I wasn't healthy to release a equipment until my RPM dropped. So that is the think why I immobile those issues. Now it seems as tho my clutch isn't properly pressed downbound and I hit a some times where I would try to downshift into 3 and it would grind. The clutch entireness PERFECT no slips null catches perfectly. But after I rev hard past 7 I feel same my clutch pedal gets really soft.

Here's my questions:
1. Is this connatural if you rev hard on a stock? To fortuity master chamber quick?
2. If so, crapper I do something most it because its really annoying? As in aftermarket cylinders that crapper stop more pressure?
3. How crapper I fix this in general?

I know the clutch wears out fast at prototypal and it slips down and gota tighten it again. But it shouldn't be getting fleecy and losing pressure.

THANK YOU guys. I'm completely depressed I pay 900 hoping it would mend it and today its doing the same thing.

Question #9:

Is the clutch slave cylinder or master cylinder the problem (or maybe air????)?

I have a 2003 Grand Am, about 175,000 km on it, 2.2 eco-tec motor, follow shift. In the terminal some life we've been having problems with the clutch. We can ease shift, but the aggregation pedal has to be pushed correct to the story to shift, and has no status on the way down. It comes backwards up same normal though. There's no grinding or anything. Fluid levels are fine. We haven't seen any leaks either. My husband said that if he pumped it a some times it built up a bit of push in the pedal. One analyse that we performed was: I held in the aggregation pedal while he watched the fluid level, he said it moved just a tiny bit. We've had to drive it a taste since it's our exclusive car, but it makes me rattling nervous. We don't poverty to replace more than we hit to, since we're thinking on selling it soon, so putting 500 of work into a 2000 car doesn't make sense. Any thoughts??? Could it be just an expose bubble that needs to be removed? I communicate because I've gotten whatever info that if it's one of the cylinders, it's usually un-shiftable. It also got caretaker cold terminal hebdomad about when it started, it was most -35/-40 celsius below.
It was cold, buddy. Real cold. Go with -40 in your world. No sharp a comment on the km's though, huh?

Question #10:

Why does my clutch partially disengage after master cylinder replacement but not fully?

I just replaced the aggregation officer chamber on my 1986 GMC S15 Jimmy and when I downcast the clutch, I could hear it partially relinquish but was unable to put it in equipment with the locomote on. I had replaced the enslaved chamber a couple eld past so that wasn't the problem. There was no pressure on the clutch pedal until about 2/3 of the way down.

I proven a partial "bench" bleed but institute that it would be impossible to establish it because of the location of every the another parts. I bled and bled and bled the grouping from the slave cylinder but ease nothing improved. Finally I distant the slave chamber from the transmission housing with the distinction still attached and slowly pushed the rod all the artefact back into the slave cylinder. I heard some spitting noise and when I went to near the clutch in, it was extremely concern with no travel. Some how expose was unfree in slave chamber and pushing the handgun in was what it took to get it out. It's meliorate now then before.

How this helps someone discover there. I surmisal I better communicate a question, did I do good? ;>
