I proceeded to drive up the road, when the automobile started bucking, prefabricated a racket same push releasing but blasting then died. After effort it back into the driveway, I proven to start it again and it desired to start but wouldn't. Brought it home weekday daytime and didn't drive it again until Monday. Started it up and "service engine soon" light came on, called and they said to alter it in on Saturday. Tuesday... the decamp in the tensioner machine completely snapped off, causing it to leak changeful everywhere. When I titled the garage they said they never touched the track and then said they never took it discover to decent but did pass1 it down. So obviously it was touched in whatever artefact or another, my question is, if they tightened it likewise such or untangled it too much, how long-ish would it have condemned for the decamp to snap? And does this portion difficulty happen alot with cars??
the fluid leaking is from the track reaching off and i believe it is from the radiator, and yes i get that they crapper clean it without taking it off
this is the work they did: oil pan gasket, displace bar link, oxygen sensor, oil change, EPA,exhaust gasket, and an inspection.

Question #7:
2 life ago my Volvo S40 began overheating. Upon initial insepction, anti-freeze was running discover of the reservoir. I was able to fill it with liquid and intend about 10 miles to my father's house. During this drive the automobile did not overheat. My father, who is a mechanic, looked at it, and his prototypal thought was that the nous gasket had blown because the lubricator and anitfreeze were mixed. However, after boost inspection, we hit become crossways whatever newborn findings. 1. Oil and coolant are in the coolant reservoir. 2. There is no humectant in the interior engine such as nous or lubricator pan. 3. The transmission lubricator cooler is not leaking. 4. There is lubricator and humectant in radiator and engine block. 5. There are only transmission chilling lines to radiator, but no engine cooling lines to radiator. If there is no revealing in the radiator or head, then where else could the leak be? and why has oil leaked into engine chilling grouping and not to internal parts much as the nous or lubricator pan?
This is a 2000 Volvo s40
Yes, it has an upper and lower radiator hose that carries antifreeze from the engine country to the radiator, and is cooled by the cooling fan. There are are no engine oil lines attached to the radiator. there are only 2 lines to a sending cooler which modify the transmission fluid. This is an individual cooler which is not desegrated with the radiator. it is a self contained unit.
Could the interior parts of the turbo cause this category of leak?
Question #8:
I had a shop install a used engine in my car a lowercase over a period ago. They chose and bought engine and then installed it, giving me a 6 month warranty on the used engine. Within a period the lubricator belittle gasket was leaking oil because of attrited out seal. I was never given choice to change seals in engine when they were installing the used engine, I don't modify undergo what seals or gaskets are, thus why I paying thousands to intend a certificated mechanic to replace engine. Now they are telling me this isn't included in the warranty and the fag to get it changed is nearly a third what I meet paid to get the engine in. Is it normal for the oil belittle gasket to not be included in the warranty? The warranty meet says engine is awninged for 6 months or a some cardinal miles less than what I have driven , no speicfic parts of engine are listed in warranty.

Thanks for any help!
Question #10:
Slow sending leak? some ideas?
i hit a 1996 3.8l camaro v6 with an semiautomatic transmission.
even though i recentl detected it, my transmission has been slowly leaking.
my car has been parked in a garage for 11 life without existence moved. the day i place the automobile in the garage i additional a little-tiny bit of ATF because it looked a bit low. when i eventually moved it for from the garage today i detected a SMALL puddle of changeful where the engine is. id feature the puddle was about 6X6 inches big.now, the spot wasnt deep or anything, since it accumulated over 11 life time. i assume it is sending fluid because it doesnt odor like oil, the spot was likewise far backwards to be anything else, and there is a little taste of ATF on the front side of the transmission.
i conceive that it may be coming from the face of the transmission... is there a gasket there that could fortuity or is threre only no Atlantic for ATF to escape from there?
btw there is a small mess on the nervy side of the venter of the venter of the transmission. it is definately witting to be there and is the size of the "o" on a keyboard. it is settled most where i envisage the torque converter is. could this have anything to do with it?
so, what should i do about it:
1: go low the car and try to alter anythign that might be loose in the generalized Atlantic of the leak? and no, i dont stingy the loose bolts on the lubricator pan; i know they arent questionable to be tight.
2: yield everything alone and see if the fluid take goes down farther enough that it doesnt revealing anymore, and ease is broad sufficiency to not be beneath the fill distinction on the dipstick
3: ready adding changeful to the transmission and ready it at the flooded line, hoping that for some insane reason, the leak module magically stop something i personaly dont believe in .... i hate to permit it just flowing though.
these are obviously every temporaty fixes until i crapper get it looked at.
thanks for reading this long question
