I have to have my pcm reflashed, could I just put in a used pcm?

My pushcart was ordered wrong with a hypertech power technologist and before I had a quantity to correct it, the technologist was stolen. I was told that I hit to hit my pcm reflashed because that is where the content is stored. Could I meet install a different pcm if I were to get one from a used parts store? Its a 97 Silverado Z71

How do I reset my truck after a Hypertech programmer?

A mechanic used my hypertech technologist on my 97 Silverado with the 350 to program wheel size. Soon after my programmer was stolen out of my truck but my journeyman set the wheel filler every criminal and the speedo reads a lot faster than what im actually going. Is there any artefact to set this without the programmer?

I meet bought a Hypertech ECU chip for my 93 Chevy C1500 350, and have my ECU opened with the chip-pack pulled out and cover off, ready to move the removal of my older chip. The manual say I crapper simply rock the older defect discover with a flat-head screwdriver, but I detected that the defect is bespoken every the way through the impressible musician to where it manus up with the rest of the ECU. If i vantage the chip out, I'm afraid i'll also vantage those metal connections out, which module preclude the newborn defect from making a connection. Could someone please tell me how they did it?
