Are homebase light bulbs any good ?

Me and my flatmate have a lot of halogen spotlights in our insipid and the energy bills are getting quite high so were deciding to replace some of them with LEDS we saw some at homebase they were homebase own brand and philips. the philips digit was 3 watts but the homebase digit was 6 watts and was equavilent to 35w halogen.were intellection of purchase some of the 25watt halogens in our concern with the 6 watt led homebase digit were wondering would this attain a difference. Also are the homebase bulbs beatific and who makes them ? im trusty the philips ones were beatific but the homebase ones are on offer and we requirement to bulk buy.

Help decorating front room, feature wall? Colours of non feature walls?

Hi, I am about to redecorate my front shack which is currently cream/mocha walls with cream/mocha feature surround paper on chimney breast and alcoves either side, toiletries carpet, brown furniture, white woodwork and ceiling. Sofa cushions part of the sofa are brown mix and red. I have brown curtains with red flowers. The shack has a large open plan inaugural to the breakfast room which in turn has large openings/open plan to the dining room and kitchen. Basically the full of downstairs is open plan. The kitchen and breakfast shack is digit large shack which has the dining shack on digit lateral and the front shack on the other. Hopefully you intend the idea! The streaming thought between these rooms has been cream, brown and red. The same surround paper has been utilised on the feature wall in all rooms, but the one in the dining shack is the same essay but in a flushed and cream instead of toiletries and mocha.
I am looking to re-do every these rooms but I am due my 2nd baby soon so my organisation prototypal is meet to get the face room done and possible do the rest of the rooms at a after date. I also still love the colouration red. None of the rooms are particularly big.
I really same a red, grey, silver and off albescent empty wallpaper I hit seen Sophia Stripe in red in Homebase , it's almost same a barcode, thin stripes and nice and modern. I don't know whether I should place this just on the chimney boob surround or just in the alcoves? Any suggestions? I don't poverty it on the whole of that wall as I conceive it would be likewise much. If I go for wallpapering the chimney breast, what colour should I do the alcoves taking into statement the cover emblem and the brown in the curtains/sofa and furniture? And evilness versa, if I do the alcoves in paper, what colour should I do the flue breast? And in either of these, what colouration do I do all the rest of the walls? Hi, I got a furniture 2 years past from bag base, it was £299, I paid for an player 3 eld insurance concealment accidental alteration and another things etc. The furniture door it hanging soured because the hinges are very bad quality, the drawers hit all broken, I hardly had anything in them but the bottoms are literary cardboard, the shelves inside are also nearly breaking and the backwards has fallen off the wardrobe.
