But there's a guy selling a tbi 350 that I can get my hands on if requirement be, but the 305 should suffice with the 700R4 transmission, it's got at least 210 HP which matches a 312 Lincoln Y-Block, and I don't requirement it for power, just for driving really. If I wanted power, I'd turn my 88 GMC 1500 into a 383 stroker, every I'm really asking is if it'd be a doable project, and I need the reliability from a TBI on account of our cold canadian winters... up to -40.. PS going to perissodactyl guard the whole lowermost of the container as well... lots of possibleness here..

I meet purchased a y country 292 ford engine. I was told I might not have to change the bell structure on my tranny but I may have to modify my z bar. Not trusty what a z bar is. In addition will I have to change discover my rearend. Is it worth exchange my 223 with the 292. thanks for some help.

i own a 1958 ford fairlane, im upgrading the engine to a 292 v8 y-block, and i hit been hunting for a newborn tranny for most 7 months and eventually today i crowd most 120 miles to get one, and now i have every the parts, the locomote and tranny and etc. :

anyway, my dad is a actual downer.... i communicate him what all we requirement to get it RUNNING, not dynamical yet, but just simply RUNNING. we tried this 2 weeks ago by swing on a bellhousing and disagreeable to turn the key to move it but nothing happened. we had the official crooked up, battery, and nothing.


so my discourse is, in GENERAL, what are all the necessary things that need to be hooked up/ connected in order to start a motor? meet to have it running and wager if it ease starts up? please support
