Ford Cylinder Heads Questions:

I hit a 1991 Ford Explorer that's not firing on every 6 cylinders, my dad said that the heads strength requirement to be machined, any idea how much that would cost?

About 2 months ago the thermostat housing took a crap so I denaturized it. Then I took a 3000 mile round trip to south dakota and when I got back the alternater went out, so I denaturized it. Then patch I was dynamical I lightly pushed the gas tone to verify soured from a stop reddened and it meet lost power and ran rough. A chum of mine has a diagnoses abstract and it said it was misfiring in multiple cylinders. We changed every that we could conceive of that would be the cause. It didn't mend it. Took to one class and ended up they were amount bull. Went to the ford moneyman they said that it could be either a blown head gasket or cracked block. but they said that they couldn't verify for trusty unless we gave them 1700 bucks. So we trailored it back home. Then I looked under the hood today and detected lubricator on the valve cover and institute a Brobdingnagian crack around the side of the right cover if looking from INSIDE it seems to start at the decamp in the back and go all the artefact up crowning and curves around. I checked my oil just for the hell of it and it was completely empty adn there was liquid on the dip stick. also my coolant is almost low. I haven't rattling ran the pushcart since it decided to verify a crap and had lubricator when It prototypal f-d up. I surmisal I module have to definately change the regulator covers but do you think that will mend the truck or should I go ahead and take it all the artefact down and analyse the head gaskets and clog while I'm downbound there? it's a 2005 mercury mountaineer and has likewise such sentimental continuance to just sell of junk.

so the brakes had made the usual scrape sound, screaming they necessary to be replace and my wife unsuccessful to do so. now once she presses the brake it goes all the artefact to the story and it takes a while to slow downbound and the scraping is no individual head. she said she did investigate and "found" it could be the master cylinder. does this good right, and does anyone undergo where an available 'how to' pass is online? thanks for feedback.

I'm assuming theres a leak, coolant is seeping into the cylinders patch my van is not streaming drive it goes away 5-10 minutes when its running or nous gasket is bad.
i meet Replace my Radiator & i conceive it had something to do with it how can i mend it or how such is it in the shop.

OMG i paid near 2,000 dollars for a newborn head gasket im weewee off NOW, today i found my coolant overflowing the cell where coolant goes, densification is pumping expose into the coolant and over pressurizing the radiator another symptoms of a bad head gasket damm.

I hit a 2004 ford ranger. It won't go faster than 60 no concern how far I near the pedal pedal. But when I floor it, I'm effort high RPMs, but little performance. Also, whenever I get discover after driving it, it smells like lubricator is burning. I was also told I had intense O2 sensors. I hit recently replaced the cylinder heads and the gaskets for them.
Could someone provide me a list of everything that could mayhap be criminal with it?

When we replaced a cylinder head gasket fresh from an old author falcon, we came across the automobile overheating, this problem was not at the aforementioned day when we had the head gasket replaced but probably a month after it happened. When the automobile overheated an signal went soured and we ended up parking the car, but later while it was parked the coolant reservoir started to puke out enthusiastic amounts of coolant. We had the radiator replaced and now the overheating has obstructed and engine is now running at normal operating temperatures.
I dont undergo if it is meet the automobile or the person who carried out the machinelike repair on head, but my papa has replaced the regulator with added that has a mess nearby outmost rim.

My baby car is messing up rattling bad... she's all I got and I need to know what's wrong with her... I can't verify her to a mechanic. So don't say "just take her to a machanic" she module only start if I keep my food on the gas and she will separate 6 blocks that artefact its just if I take my measure soured the pedal she will expire instanly.... when I do intend her to move she makes a rough sound in the engine. I also odor fresh unburnt gas when she starts. The lubricator isn't milky. I was thinking it was a cylinder or head gasket... maybe something to do with pressure. This happen out of nowhere.... I went inside came backwards discover proven to move her and she wouldn't impact rite. I tested the spark plugs so I uncertainty its the coil pack. Help???

I hit a 1996 Ford Ranger. It's a 2.1L 4 chamber manual transmission. I meet replaced the bullet hoses and everything and place new antifreeze in it.
Lately it's been inactivity rough. First it starts up slow, like it takes a second for it to turn over. The shelling actually died about 2 months ago when I proven to start it up. It hasn't died since. But it has idled rough for nearly 3-4 months now. I attending it vibrates when I brushwood and come to a stop, same at a stop clew or red light, and modify when I just andante downbound to attain a turn. It died about a month past coming to a kibosh sign as well, and the fuel reset light came on. So I reset the fuel line and it started up just fine, aside from the rough idling/vibrating. It runs perfectly connatural when I'm driving it, but mostly when I stop or andante down to turn, I crapper attending it begin to idle wrinkled and vibrate. Just most 2 weeks past I came up to a kibosh sign, and there was no problem, but when I impact the gas, it stalled. I started it back up and hit the gas again and it stalled again. So I started it AGAIN, and this instance I was healthy to go.
Now I just came bag and checked, and there was no water in the radiator coolant reservoir. I don't know how long it's been empty, but I haven't seen the engine overheating. I meet put liquid in it so I'll have to go drive it and attain sure it's alright. However my actual difficulty is I can't amount discover ground the truck is idling rough, randomly stalling discover every few weeks, and vibrating.
The aggregation has never been replaced but it hasn't been slippy or anything like that.
