Peugeot 205 starting issue!?

Bought the automobile on friday crowd it home dustlike no problems at all, Drove it for about an hour to and from college last night, And when i went to use it this morning it wouldn't start!! : the engine turns over fine but doesn't fire up so i patterned the shelling terminals tightened them up looked at the solenoids these were every fine too, then was on to the flash plugs these were old and smutty so cycled to euro parts to get some new ones and intellection it would fix it, got backwards denaturized them and still no joy my brute seems to think its the ignition coil as we tried the plugs to see if we could see a spark and no joy there also ANY responses/help would be such understood
