When I was installing it I realised that because the wiring in my concern is older it does not hit a live and neutral wire connected to the older regulator because digital ones were not invented when the concern was built. Last assemblage i also had my pot replaced from a tank to a combi pot by british gas, so it is a modern boiler. Is there a wireless thermostat that dosnt require a live and neutral connection? I'm replacing an similarity thermostat with a digital digit and I'm having some problems wiring it. The accommodate colours are not conformable with anything I've been datum online most wiring.

Steven: The old thermostat I had did not have labels on it indicating which wire was which. The schematic I posted shows ALL the information available by hunting at the old regulator itself.

Hey everyone,
I live in an apartment that has a type of central AC in apiece room digit shaft in each room running vertically through all the floors of the whole building with adjustable temperatures . Um, to respond that question, its not crooked to a well or anything. What category it is I'm not 100%. when I wager it outside, all I see is a round thing most 4 feet high. Help!!! I have no heat?

My apartment has no heat all of a sudden. My blistering liquid tank in the level is ease on and I have hot water. I replaced the batteries in the thermostat but I conceive it haw be intense anyways because its a digital digit that has been stuck on a certain temperature for months. It was cragfast on a decorous worker so I just left it. My question is and yes I know null about this clog module a intense regulator cause me to hit no heat?? Any suggestions?? Thanks

E2 Error on Thermostat - What could be the cause?

This morning, I detected the digital thermostat was blank, most 20 seconds later it came backwards on. I watched it closely patch in modify mode, most 5 minutes in this fashion the thermostat quickly says "E2' before going off entirely. About 20 seconds later, it comes back on.

This seems to occur only while the Aux Heat Gas Furnace is overturned on, in Cool Mode, or in Heat Pump mode, it doesn't trigger E2. I've patterned the line emf feeding the thermostat, it's around 26 Volts and we haven't had some power issues.

Any suggestions on what added to check? Thermostat is most 5 years old - Carrier Heatpump Thermostat.
Being that the regulator is getting 26 volts - could it be the blower motor triggering this or intense transformer?
One engrossing component I meet noticed, when the E2 is displayed on the thermostat, the LED on the expose trainer blinks 3 short flashes, and 3 daylong flashes, I see that to be Error 33. With the expose trainer doors completely distant and the country alter taped downbound so it thinks the doors are installed - the unit works fine..no more E2 errors.

With the doors reinstalled, E2 appears about 5 minutes later. I'm intellection its something to do with expose line - new filters were installed 2 weeks ago. Could it be fan/capacitor?

Its strange E2 is only triggered during Emergency Heat and not Cool or Heat...guess there is more safety around the operaiton of Gas?
Turns out the problem was not sufficiency air being generated by the drier causing the airhandler to lockout. When it locked out, the thermostat would then display E2. After 5 minutes of this behavior, the air trainer won't attempt to fire up again for over an hour. Fixed problem with the air handler, every is beatific =
