It's a 95 celica 1.8, I bought the automobile with a panting head, so I recently had the nous resurfaced, had the valves clean and and newborn seals and everything, then dropped the nous back on the block. Turns discover that once I got the everything backwards on and I cranked the engine, there was a filthy oil revealing by chamber #1, so I was convinced that the preceding owner overheated the automobile rattling intense to the point that it warped the cart iron block a bit. So I took the country to get resurfaced and bought a new nous gasket set. I put everything back on and then it ease leaks lubricator from that aforementioned spot. Not nearly as much out, but it will start to drip. The only abstract I can conceive of that went wrong is the torque wrench I used. That cat of wouldn't click sometimes so I think its not at force specs, but I made sure that I tightened it pretty good. What should I do? Should I retighten the head boots added 45 degree turn, and then add some sort of sealant? And is there a certain sealant that you guys recommend? And the nous bolts were place in at correct sequence and distant at the correct sequence.

I have a 1997 Oldsmobile 88 base model with a 3.8 Series 2 engine. I want to replace the Head Gaskets only. I was intellection most doing it same this....You know vanish the Heads, intend the older gaskets off, then install the new gaskets, put the Heads backwards on. With the new Head bolts force to OEM Specs. Is it a requirement, a needed step to eager my cylinders when swing in newborn nous gaskets? Head gaskets looks fine on my car right now, no problems that I know of. I just want to replace them. I'm also going to replace my valve cover gaskets, timing cover gasket, and intake gasket. Whats the saucer of dull my engine if I'm not instalment newborn pistons! I wish the respond is number Thanks for any replies.
