This morning I took my son to school and detected the temperature got up to 220. The judge goes to 260, and it held steady at 230. This is a 1-2 mile drive. I came bag and put in more oil and coolant. Went on added knot long activate and it ease got up in temperature but not as quickly. Should I move a patch and essay another brief trip, is the coolant something that I have to move for to cycle finished to work or should I have noticed a difference. I additional the coolant while the engine was streaming with the heat on broad wise by the guy at CarQuest ...is this a different problem? My coolant and lubricator levels were blank but now are not.

Whats wrong with my 1993 For Ranger?

My check engine reddened came on in my 1993 ford ranger and from time undergo Autozone, Carquest etc arent healthy to check the code do to the assemblage or something.

About a week ago the reddened came on and the engine was bogging downbound when accelerating. I had recently been running on very lowercase pedal in between jobs . So i thought it was the fuel pump. However i had a constituent fuel separate for it and denaturized it. The reddened went soured and everything was ok.

Unfortunatly my g/f took the truck and didnt gas it up. On my artefact to work this morning ive driven it 400 or so miles since the modify it was streaming low on gas on E but theres not a pedal send within a 5 miles from work and I was running late.

Right before i pulled into impact the reddened came on again and the engine was bogging down not as bad as the prototypal instance but idk whats up.

Im assuming from all the past riding on E I have blasted the fuel viscus but is it possible that its the render filter again since i strength be kicking up crud from the lowermost of the tank?

I am feat to essay and modify the filter again and throw half a cell of payment pedal in her and wager what happens but whatever signaling would be appreciated.
