Car Alternator Questions:

My GMC territory XL 1500 XL battery keeps dying after a few hours. AAA patterned the shelling and it is good and the alternator is fine. They said I may hit a "parastic draw", where something electrical in the automobile is pulling humour when I invoke it off?
Does anyone undergo about how much that would outlay to repair? I called GMC/Chevy and they crapper only verify me it is 140 to "diagnose" and cannot provide me any estimate on how much it would cost to mend or repair. I hit a 1998 Ford Escort, 120,000 miles. I hit a newborn battery, new spark plugs including the flash cords.
Here's my problem in steps so you can help me see at small where the problem could be coming from. I don't wait anyone to be a wizard.
1. It's freezing cold here in Colorado, and my car hasn't been started for 5 life because I haven't needed to go anywhere.

Edit: I forgot to name that it was variety of low on gas to begin with. It has 8 notches, 8 existence a full tank. I permit it set for 5 life on the 1 1/2 notch. Does this mean that perhaps ice and liquid got inside the pedal tank? Does this mean I would hit to move dirt it rattling gets warm before ever starting it again?
Another thing I was thinking most is the oil. Maybe the lubricator was too fat and wasn't able to circulate through the parts right? But then ground would it start the first time like a breeze? I use 10-W30 I think.

i was dynamical the automobile and then it meet kibosh working kinda like a stall but it wasnt stalled because i couldnt invoke it backwards on.... i hit narrowed it downbound to a some things like alternator fuel pump or the render filter anyone have some another ideas?

Mechanic replaced these but has now suggested I wager an auto linesman as there seems to be an supply with the electrics adjoining to the alternator. I have meet ambiguous discover 180 quid.
