Old man dirt said to rotate crank 90 degree away from tdc mark to adjust camshaft marks do i do this with timing belt on or soured .? I need to get every threesome marks matched tdc and 2 mark on camshaft please whatever help!

2006 chevy trailblazer, makes loud slapping noise?

im currently employed on a 2006 chevy trailblazer with a DOHC in line six chamber engine, auto trans and only digit wheel drive. i was driving on the superhighway and it started making this ticking noise and by the time i could pull over it was rattling loud. it sounds exactly like a timing concern slapping against a thin structure of some sort. it runs really good as if there is on problem at all. i took the regulator counterbalance soured and i cannot wager any problems with the regulator springs or followers or camshafts. the timing concern is dripless with exclusive a quarter inch of play between the two cams. i turned the locomote over patch applying pressure to the timing chain and it did not have some streched sections, its dripless every the way. i ran a compression test and the densification is excellent. i took the fan belt off and started it and it ease makes the noise. i took the flash plugs out and overturned it over and i cannot center the noise at every but when the plugs are in i crapper center it rattling faintly almost un noticeable. it exclusive seems to make the noise when it is running. could the turn plate be broken or something? it happened very dead it did not happen over time. is this a ordinary problem with these things? some suggestions would be great
also its very rythmic it does not hap randomly

Need help diagnosing my car... Please...?

Okay I have a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta VR6 2.0 L, I hit detected this difficulty occur ever so often. What I stingy is that it occurs for a couple of months, then the problem stops for a few months and now it is reaching backwards again. Recently when I am braking on the road, the cars electronics seem to die and I hit to restart the car again. This occurs occasionally. However, if I put sufficiency gas on the pedal, the automobile gets feat again. I have detected that when I take out the key to the ignition electronics reset itself. Alarm isn't working. I had the alternator and shelling patterned not likewise daylong ago and they said it was streaming at connatural capacity. I hit not patterned the camshaft function sensor or the throttle embody yet. Sometimes, when I am movement into reverse, it takes a patch to intend it going. Often I have detected that when I start the car it seems to rev up almost instantly. Does anyone know what might be the problem? I revalue this as I'm a college enrollee trying to spend money. Is $609 too much to pay?

Acceleration of cam follower?

So for my schoolwork I have a camshaft, and I was questionable to find the speed of the someone by rotating the camshaft 5 degrees, and then transcription the move of the follower each time for a full 360 degrees, so a total of 72 measurements. Then use these numbers to encounter the speed of the follower, I think?

But I don't see what this acceleration represents? I mean how crapper something even hit an speed if it is not moving? And isn't the speed of the follower supported on how alacritous the cam is rotating?
