How to drive CVT plus manual Car?

I poverty to acquire a car having CVT transmission. Yesterday the sales incharge told me that it is actually CVT nonnegative manual. I will receive the automobile in a week's time.
May I communicate those who have experience in such cars, how to drive CVT manual? Can you shift from CVT to Manual during running? What is the goodness of drill with CVT?

Here I am having added question? questionable you are cruising at 100 km/hr and you change to manual 1 what will happen? One cannot be having 100km/hr in prototypal equipment in drill transmission...will the system change it by itself? And what is the benefit of changing to manual then?

i'm looking for a used CVT semiautomatic sending for my kia optima '01, the VIN is KNAGD22291A090103, the automobile is 2.0L 1997cc to be precise , 4 cyl, sems to be a rare korean version, all the parts i hit found on ebay mark 2.4L engine and when compare the transmissions are different. My journeyman says mine is a CVT Transmission.

Someone knows where crapper i get this identify of auto. sending , used? Country/Website/etc.??

I have 2 difficulty with my cvt prototypal it whines in baritone speed second when its cold some nowadays when I swing it to D it doesn't move I have change it to N then backwards to D then it moves or when I travel in 25 to 45 miles the trani slips like there is no transmission in the automobile I visited a Nissan dealer they have no solution for it just to change the trani for 5200 what the hell after i showed it to local class he said it could be for the first difficulty cvt machine and for the second tcm , so what u think causing these problems please support , for your content am right of army I don't hit warranty on the car .

I purchased an altima coupe pre-owned last year and was told that I would hit the long transmission warranty. Could they have lied to me most it having the warranty? It was not a Nissan Dealer, but it also was not a ty little moneyman either. Just trying to get conversant before calling nissan.
