What are the symptoms of a bad fuel injector?

I posted this earlier, but I would same a couple more opinions.

I've asked most 500 questions on here lately about a ticking good coming from my engine. I was good convinced it was a bad lifter, until yesterday I took the regulator cover soured and it was nearly spotless. Someone that was serving me work on it said the sound sounds same it's reaching from the render injector. It makes sense that it would be the render injector. Here are the symptoms:

Car idles roughly: Ticking racket coming from engine ONLY during idle, vibrates badly at times, and it sounds a little like a tractor recently.
There's a pretty brawny pedal odor at times.
My gas distance seems to hit dropped.
There's a decorous amount of albescent respiration from the exhaust.
Not so much anymore, but when I utilised to move it, a ploom of white smoke would come from the exhaust.

The automobile is a 91 Toyota Corolla with 300k miles. I'm trying to keep it aware as daylong as possible for entertainments sake, and also as a artefact to learn how to work on cars. I'm not paying grouping to do it, hence all the questions.

Extra notes: I undergo it's not the wear manifold ticking, because I replaced it less then 6 months ago. I've checked to attain sure it's tight, and it's fine. I'm not completely judgement out the lifter existence the problem. And about the smoke thing, it's not coolant. I filled the coolant when I got the automobile 6 months ago, and haven't modify had to conceive most it since.

my automobile idles up and down erattically in park and nuetral,and sometimes module do it in drive if i'm slowing down.
i've place newborn plugs and wires ,o2 sensor,mass air line sensor,had respiration tested for clean leaks,fuel injector preparation additional to pedal tank,and still haven't found the problem.
i prefabricated a recording about it and a guy said i have bad fuel injectors.would render injectors drive my cars to indolent up and down eratically?when i hit it at a stabilize pace sometimes it module movement like something is closed off,i'm also not getting the pedal mileage i used to.car is a 1992 raptor talon non turbo face wheel drive.
i'm also wondering should i meet get them clean by a gargae or acquire newborn ones?

are the symptoms on my car possibly bad timing?

a patch back when I replaced my water viscus I conceive I strength hit mitt the timing marks soured by a bit. My automobile since then has idled a taste unusual. It vibrates quite a bit when idling and I was wondering if thats cod to intense timing. Injectors plugs and wires are all good and fuel viscus and separate a pretty new. I tried checking the marks on the cams since the automobile is a match cam 4 cyl. and the marks meet up in the region just fine but I quickly figured they will ever foregather up perfectly in the region since they both spin the aforementioned direction. I guess checking the evaluation on the crank dig would be the right abstract to do right? can bad idle be due to bad timing? thanks for the help!

what are symptoms of a bad throttle position sensor?

my automobile idles up and downbound in park/nuetral.once it gets over 35 indication it loses alot of noesis and takes forever to pick up.i was told it's either a maf sensor or a throttle function sensor.there's no vacuum leaks in my car.sometimes the idles goes up and down in intend when im speed down,but not as bad as it does it in park.i also already cleaned and patterned fuel injectors,and patterned the catilic convertor and there was no problems there.when it was crooked up to a scanner it threw discover every kinds of codes and i undergo not all of those things requirement fixed.car is a 92 eagle talon non turbo front rotate drive.any ideas what i should try doing?someone told me to get whatever maf device cleaner.

i have a compression problem, I think....?

ok so I possess a 94 jeep noble jerokee limited, 4.0L, 6 straight. listed below are the symptoms

1. when applying brakes, rpms module fall beneath 500 almost to the point of stall, and i wager the needle then rise to about 800 rate when the jeep is fully stopped. this does not happen every the time, but it seems to be getting worse.
2. i detected when i had the automobile in park, the engine would separate smooth, and every once in a patch see a taste rough but the rate guage would feature normal. so i held the rpms stabilize at 2000 and detected the engine would separate smooth for most 5 seconds and would the starts running wrinkled same i could feel null then a mid ranged ambiance on the wheel and the car
3.if I am at a kibosh light and the rpms are downbound I crapper place the jeep in tract and rev up the engine, and sometimes the symptom would go away.

I fresh denaturized the spark plugs and the cables, put in render injector/ carborator preparation to wager if the symptoms would go away but they are still happening.
i am not sure if it is a compression problem or something with the render distinction or the computer. if someone could support me i would rattling appreciate it impart you

99 Ford Contour Stumper?

This strength be easier than I think, at least I hope so. The symptom is, when the car hasn't been started for a some hours. It seems to be effort likewise such render on initial move up. When cranking over, it stumbles same it's misfiring. Eluding car problem-rough idle, low vacuum?

I hit a 1993 f150 with a 5.8 that I had a shop do an engine switch on most a month ago. Since I got it back, it's been running a little rough. It's not horribly bad, but you can definitely see it. It idles around 1000 RPM, which seems a lowercase on the broad side, and it loses between 100-200 RPM every some seconds so it's at 1000, then down to 800, then back up to 1000, then back downbound to 800, etc. . At the aforementioned instance it's doing this, you can feel the slight corrosion of the vehicle. It does it every the time, but seems to be worse as the engine gets hotter. The clean datum is also slightly baritone at around 13-14". I took it back to the class after I got it back it was doing this from period 1 , and they couldn't encounter what was feat it's problems, kept it for a few weeks, and then gave it back to me and said "we can't encounter the problem." I do center a offense ticking from what sounds same the drivers side of the vehicle, but I think that might be the render injectors. A someone of mine said that it's possible the shop keyed the valve hair too tight, and that could be the problem. Could a tight valve lash cause a rough idle and every the another symptoms?

Anyway, so now I've been disagreeable to find the problem. Here's what's been done. It's had individual tanks of gas finished it so it's not intense pedal for both face and rear tanks. It was pulling a few codes related to the EGR, so I replaced the EGR valve. codes are gone, engine still runs rough. It had a complete tuneup wires, plugs, cap, rotor . Firing visit has been patterned numerous times by both me and the class when they had it , as well as every the plugs, wires, etc. The routing of apiece wire follows the exact path of the old wires through the lowercase holders and everything. Today, I patterned each individualist clean line I hooked a judge up to it, closed off digit end, and pumped expose into them and pressure proven each line. None of the lines had some leaks, every held pressure perfectly. I pulled the 'coffee' can, pressure proven that; held pressure just fine. Ignition timing is ordered perfectly to 10 degrees BTDC the description traded low the hood of the pushcart , spout connector was pulled to do the timing, and was put backwards in. Timing has been patterned several nowadays as well by both me and the class . Compression was excellent on every 8 cylinders. I ran whatever render injector preparation through it. I pulled, checked, and clean out the IAC valve. I pulled, patterned and clean the PCV. At this point, I have no idea what to check anymore. What could be causing the low vacuum, rough idle same I described? Can anyone support me figure discover what to do next????

I am confused and requirement help with my 1997 automobile grand cherokee stalling out at assorted times.
For the past 2 months,maybe once a week,my jeep,for no reason,would just stall.It always starts correct back up and drives perfect again for another couple of life and then do it again.
I had it patterned out and a code came up for a intense kindling coil.I had it replaced and the jeep ran great for 2 weeks,no problems.But then once again it just stalled.I had it replaced again and yesterday it happened again.I know its not another coil.
Ive had the automobile tuned up a hebdomad past and had the injectors blown out.Then i had the throttle body cleaned also.
Now the indolent is rougher than before.
Someone said that its the crankshaft position sensor,but no codes appear?
If it is the crankshaft position sensor,are these the symptoms it shows?I thought it wouldnt start right backwards up again if it was that?Why then no codes?
Also about 3 months past that lowercase metal surface thats exclusive where you put the nose from a pedal viscus to get pedal lapse inside the tank.Could that in anyway be impeding the line,pump,or filter?
In summary,could it be crankshaft issue or obstructed fuel line or separate from metal piece floating around in pedal tank?

Ford Mechanical Selector Valve Operation?

author E150 threefold cell van. I need to know precisely how the machinelike switch regulator operates. My van dies patch dynamical without warning. I am downbound to the mechanical selector valve.....everything else checks out. would a bad selector regulator termination in no pedal at the injectors but instead expose coming discover at first and then later gas?
