If the A/C relay is bad what symptoms occur on an automobile?

Im wondering if the AC passage is bad what symptoms occur. Does the AC compressor ease Click On or not?

My situation:
1997 Cadillac Eldorado ETC

A/C is not clicking on. Both fans invoke on. It seems to hit Freon, I pressed with a screwdriver on the inline and Freon came discover or air. I had the cipher P1660 a difficulty with cooling temp. I checked the fuses and AC primer was blown replaced it with a 10A and analyse engine reddened disappeared. But the AC didnt click on. I didnt further troubleshoot the AC due to demand of experience.

i wanna charge up the AC system in my MF where are the fittings b4 i move takin clog off, i am a journeyman and do alot of AC work on automobiles , but none on tractors. also i'm workin on a 2000 chrylser minivan and i got a AC revealing and cannot encounter it, i've checked the side evap set and nothin at the fitting or the drain plaything patterned the undercarraige lines, compressor reciever/dryer...etc cannot not find anything i've charged with a AC organisation twice and guages erst every with 2-3 oz of dye/pag oil am i missing somethin and checked front evap core drain tube aswell and low dash.

Question #3:

Is there a difference between an AC Compressor and an AC Condenser for an automobile?

My automobile doesn't have an AC Compressor, so when hunting for a cheap one I crapper install, I came across several AC Condensers. Just wasn't trusty if it is the same thing or not. Furthermore, if my automobile hasn't had an AC Compressor before, what added would I requirement besides the compressor itself?

Where can I buy an air conditioning compressor?

Where can I acquire an expose conditioning compressor? I mean what sort of abstract should I countenance for in the yellow pages? Not an automobile AC compressor, just a 120 volt digit for a window unit.
