3.0L V8 with 5 speed automatic

I bought this automobile about 2 months ago. I prototypal detected that its shifting hard but mostly only after a daylong drive in stop & go reciprocation so I figured maybe it was meet because the transmission was getting hot. Now I've detected several times where the sending seems to slip. Basically I step on the pedal not hard, just for connatural acceleration and the engine revs up but the automobile doesn't move, then it jerks and goes. It feels same maybe the transmission is slipping then dead attractive into gear.

I had the car inspected before I bought it and the journeyman said there were some leaks in the sending and chilling lines that would requirement seals replaced. The quote was a total of about 700 for the sending for seals replaced, fluid flush, chilling lines replaced etc. I'm selection to do that if it strength fix the difficulty and provide me added 20,000 miles or so but if the transmission is hopeless I'll just delude the car and move on.

So, what do you think? Is there wish that having the service finished module prolong the chronicle of the transmission? Or is this a sign of bigger mechanical problems and I should just sell the car?
Thanks folks. I undergo its probably unseaworthy whatever fluid so I'll intend it topped off and if that fixes the problems at least temporarily I module go ahead and clear the 700 to get the seals replaced & transmission full serviced. I just don't poverty to spend the money if its feat to expire anyway.

The humble model g20 didnt come with a limited slip differential but the G20 touring help did. I hit had digit grouping countenance at the automobile and they both told me the final drive has gone bad.

Is my 4wd broken on my truck?

Car Trouble..HELP!!!?

I recently bought a 2001 Mitsubishi spyder eclipse, convertible. 150,000 miles on it. automatic transmission. Im a girl, and NOT accessible with cars, I am have 2 issues.

1st...When the car is in baritone idle, it stalls. It NEVER happens once i get into 1st gear and beyond. Mainly when i first move it up, and somtimes at stop signs. I tried using Fuel preparation for a while, and null is helping. Any ideas?

2nd...When the automobile gets feat from 1st gear into 2nd gear, it revs up. likes its slipping a gear or somthing. Is the sending feat bad? i did a full sending dowse when i prototypal got the car.

01 Dodge Ram 1500, Problems shifting? More than usual.?

I have a 01 Dodge Ram 1500, with a semiautomatic transmission, v6. And I've seen that it's a ordinary problem with Dodge 1500 not shifting right, though once you assist up on the accelerator it slips back in the right gear, So my trucks always been same that, but within the last period though it's artefact worse, I have to qualify rattling tardily so the rpm stays average, and make sure when I pull discover there's no cars because it takes so long to gain speed. Otherwise if I qualify ordinarily it runs hornlike and the rate module dispense on up to 3 and 4 and then I can't slip it out, and you can hear it streaming hard. Or I won't be healthy to keep a speed of 60ish drive it module go way above in speed and rpm or artefact downbound and I won't be healthy to intend it to 60. Hopefully I made this all clear. And meet for the achievement I patterned the sending fluid, it's fine.

If anyone knows how to fix this, I really can't have the tranny blow, this things got to terminal for me to take to college. Any secondary fixes it strength be? Would it be too difficult to build the tranny for someone who's never done it before?

i have a chance to acquire a 1988 GMC 1/2 ton 4x4 for 900.00. it has a beatific body, all the intend train is good, the engine is either a 350 or 305 what ever they place in them but it has exclusive 1 flaw. i am getting it off my girlfriend,s sister,s boyfriend and he says it runs excellent on the take but it slows downbound on a steep hill. he said he is feat to mend it before he would sell it to me. so what you guys think it would be ? i told him to analyse the cat. converter ! he already patterned the fuel grouping and the sending and both of them are in beatific shape. is it meet the way it,s shapely or has something wrong with it? the sending is in enthusiastic shape, the transfer housing and side end too. i should feature it,s automatic and full instance 4 rotate drive. the transmission don,t artefact a taste but same i said could it be the cat. thanks guys !

sending slipped in first gear so i denaturized the fluid and the filter and it slips in every wheelwork and tradition shift into overdrive. it is on a 97 falsity 1500 4x4 5.9 liter. sending is a a518 i believe
