The pipage was fixed, and the problem was fine. Until 3 life ago, during a rain storm I was woken up to a waterfall in my kitchen. Apparently about 8" of water had gathered in the attic and was draining in to my apt. Landlord sent over a handyman to unclog the same drain that had issues last year. He also revilement discover about an 8 x 12 foot section of cieling.....almost my entire kitchen....to permit it drain. We are expecting more onerous rain this weekend, and the landlord has said that she doesn't poverty to bushel anything before the assail in case the drain wasn't the issue. I see things hap and all, but today I'm stuck with a opened ceilimg with large attic filthy water dripping everywhere, and dripping insulation hanging. I can't go anywhere near the kitchen without getting splashed on, and it's leaking about 3gl of liquid every 24 hours. She also said that if it IS meet the drain that I would have to just wait a pair weeks for the detachment to parched before they could drywall the kitchen. Is that safe?! Shouldn't they intend fans or a dehumidifier in to the attic or something? I can't springy same this for weeks....its just large and it smells horrible. I also have 2 dogs, but thank goodness the impressible sheeting on the floor bothers them so they don't go near the area. What are my rights as a tenant? How should I approach this? I'm not hunting to whine or complain, but this is just a taste likewise much. Should I implore the insulation be replaced? Not sure what to do. Please help!
